Each year I debut a new ornament design featuring a sea creature or shell that is close to my heart.  This year it's a Nurse Shark!

This limited edition of the new ornament is offered as Pre-Order - that means the listing is available between Nov 28th and Dec 5th, and is guaranteed to ship by Dec 10th.

To commemorate the launch of this new addition, I'm offering a limited run of a holiday-edition with a Santa hat on the logo and the year.  After this holiday season, this ornament will only be available with the regular logo.

The front of the ornament is decorated with a textured Nurse Shark design with both raised and recessed impressions.  It is then coated with a glossy, vibrant, aqua/teal colored glaze that is transparent and has a darker color where the glaze is thicker and a lighter color where it is thinner, interacting with the surface texture of the piece.  The back side is decorated with the Beach Baby "B" logo featuring a Santa hat and the year - all painted on using a custom stencil, resulting in a barely raised texture.  The entire back side of the ornament has been carefully sanded to shape the bare clay into a silky-smooth texture.  The ornament is hung on a piece of hemp cord that hangs down about 2 inches.

The matching sticker - included for free with this pre-order - has a muted holographic effect under a subtle, brushed-metal-like finish that provides a fun representation of "shark skin" in sticker form.  The sticker is durable, high-quality, and waterproof.
