How it’s made:
The main form is thrown on the wheel and the handle is hand-rolled before being attached. Indented textures are carved into the cup portion before dots are applied. Each dot is hand-applied using a technique called “slip trailing” that I like to compare to piping decorative frosting onto a cake (but much less tasty!).
